For this swap, I had to ditch the stock manual shifter (duh...) and get one more appropriate for the TH350. I decided on the B&M Pro Stick based on features, price and ease of installation. It is setup for a normal shift pattern but has facilities to prevent accidental overshifting for each forward gear and additionally prevents accidental shifts to neutral and reverse via lockout handles that must be manipulated.
Here's the shifter in my stock M6 console. I positioned the shifter in such a way so that I could retain the stock shifter bezel and the shifter throws would not require hacking up the console in any way. It came out well, but a lot of trial fitting took place.
